MultiQ wins Sydtrafik’s ‘Information displays for traffic information’ procurement
Sydtrafik, the public transport company for the Jutland part of the Region of Southern Denmark, held a large public procurement for digital signage in the autumn and winter. MultiQ was notified today that it had won the procurement, which means that contract negotiations will begin. The contract is binding only when it has been signed by both parties. Other stakeholders have the opportunity to appeal against the decision. It is expected that further information will be available in around 2 weeks.
The bid price of the procurement is just over SEK 23 million over a period of 2 years, with the option to extend for 1 + 1 years. The procurement will lead to framework agreements which will form the basis for call-off orders with an estimated value of SEK 5-30 million during this period.
“It is great news to learn that we have reached this important stage of the procurement after our solid efforts. Sydtrafik is a very important client for us and we have worked closely with them for several years. Our traffic information displays are already in place at bus stops and train stations,” says Mads Henrik Hansen, CEO of MultiQ Denmark AS.
“We are very proud of the result of this important procurement. It shows that, in an open public competition, we have the best combination of price and quality,” says Lars Pålsson, acting CEO of MultiQ.
